Offshore fishing waters are deeper waters and farther out from the coast. The Gulf Stream affects
offshore fishing since fish flock to this stream of warm water, feeding up and down the coast from the Caribbean to the British
Isles. The Gulf Stream is approximately 60 miles off the coast of Charleston, but can be accessed in closer locations
such as Georgetown.
